RANDALL WITHERS

Randall Stuart Withers, 69, a resident of San Mateo, died Dec. 28 in Springfield, Ore., after an illness. He was a native of Oregon, was a veteran of the U.S. Army during World War II, and had been a taxicab driver for 20 years.

Survivors include his wife Anne; three daughters, Jeanette Alwast and Margaret and Annette Withers, all of San Mateo; a brother, Ernest Withers of Oregon; and a sister, Dorothy Whitman of Washington.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Gregory's Catholic Church. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery under the direction of O'Connell's Chapel by the Wayside.
