Shana, FYI: the CA birth index isn't coming up with any perfect matches for Belinda's birth (assuming she was born in California.) I found a Wayne Brandon of the right age in the 1930 census in KANSAS (often confused with MISSOURI), with his parents Earl and May, and sister Ava (age 11 in 1930). He was a grocery salesman and his father was an Driller, Oil & Gas. I can send you the census image if you like. [Source: Kansas, NEOSHO, Chanute 2WD, ED 7, Sheet 17A; Roll 713 Book 1, Page 105a]
