Died -- DANKS -- at Hollister, Oct. 10, Joseph Carrier DANKS, a native of Massachusetts, aged 84 years.
Death of J.C. DANKS -- a great shock to his many friends as it was not generally known that he was ill, an aggravated case of erysipelas. The funeral took place from his late residence yesterday afternoon, the services being conducted by Rev. J.W. BRYANT. The remains were interred in the IOOF cemetery.
