Hi Bonnie,

I'm not sure if it's the same book, but there is a book called Edward Higby and his descendants that was written in 1927 and details the lives of all those who descended from Edward Higby, who arrived in the U.S. in 1647. Joseph Ringot Higby was my great grandfather. His maternal grandfather was Joseph Ringot. You can order a copy of the book through Amazon.
