Hi Terri,

I found them today....sometimes I just need a little POKE!! Not much
information on these OLD certs but here is what I got.

Charles A. Cook age 22 born California
married on May 11, 1881
Katie M. Gordon age 16 born California

There is a note that the consent of the father of the minor is on file.

Getting married in 1881 at age 16 makes Katie born in 1865....quite a bit
later than the 1854 you thought.
