Hi Perrin. THANK you so much for checking the death certificate for me!!
My Boland and Coffee relatives are so stingy about filling in parental
information on official documents.....little did they know that a great great
grand daughter would one day be trying to track them down. My grandmother
also left blanks for her parent's names on her marriage certificate. I'm
assuming that the DC was probably filled in by an official at the Agnew State
Hospital who was clueless as to her parents....However, 30 years in San
Francisco does open up searches in both the census records and city
directories as you suggested......Thanks for the great suggestion......connie

I found some information for you....not as much as usual, but the earlier
the certs are the more difficult they are to read and the less information
they have on them.

Margaret Boland born Ireland
dob ?
dod August 17, 1905 states that her age was 49
father None given
mother None given
spouse widow
informant None given
Burial San Francisco.

She did at Agnews State Hospital and the death cert said she had lived in
San Francisco for 30 years and at Agnews for 15 days. Maybe a look in City
Directories for San Francisco would help.
