Hi,

Well a little better luck this time. I found the Marriage cert of
Evangeline Evinger (it said Evingen in the index)and M.L. Lindsay. Here it
is:

M.L. Lindsay born Ohio 32 years old resident of San Francisco
married on July 4, 1886
Evangeline Evingen (this is the way it is listed in the index. On the cert
it is Evinger) Born Illinois resident of Washington Territory
witnesses Mrs. J.A. Ingram resident of San Jose
Mrs J.R. Cain resident of Falls City Richardson County (couldn't read the
state)

No marriage for Edith in SCC, but I did find her death cert:

Edith Lillian Rosenthal born Oregon (they must have traveled after the
marriage)
dob March 6, 1901
dod June 14, 1997
father Merritt Lindsay born Ohio
mother Evangeline Evinger born Illinois
burial Riverview Cemetery Portland Oregon
informant Herbert Rosenthal
spouse Herbert Rosenthal

This was it. There were no death certs for Ida, Evangeline, Merritt, or
M.L. Maybe they were still in Oregon!!
