Death of Mr. Whiting

William A. Whiting died at the County Alms House near Milpitas on Monday
evening, February 18th, aged about 72 years. He had been a resident of
Los Gatos for over thirty years and was by occupation a teamster, until
several years ago when he became partially paralyzed, since which time
time he and his wife have been assisted by the county and friends. His
wife died some months ago and shortly after he was sent to the Alms House.
The interment was in Oak Hill Cemetery this afternoon.

WHITING - Near San Jose, February 19, 1901, William A. WHITING, formerly
of Los Gatos, a native of Connecticut, aged 76 years.

Friends and acquaintances are respectfully invited to attend the funeral
from the county Alms House to-day (Wednesday) at 1 o'clock. Interment at
Oak Hill Cemetery.
