S. Earl Rodrigues

S. Earl Rodrigues, 70, retired Post Office employe, died in a hospital
here Saturday after a short illness.

Born in Illinois, he had resided in California 60 years. A government employe
38 years, he was superintendent of postal carriers in Oakland for many
years. His home was at 527 S. 24th St.

Rodrigues was a member of San Jose Consistory No. 9, F & AM; Santa Barbara
Capter of the National Assn. of Retired Civil Service Employes, and Sequoia
Lodge 349, Aahmes Temple, and Universal Church of the master, all of Oakland.

He was the brother-in-law of Mrs. Mabel D. Reischmann of San Jose. Funeral
rites will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow from Darling-Fischer Garden Chapel.
Officiating will be Fraternity Lodge 399, F&AM. Interment will be private.

of Mary F. Rodrigues; brother-in-law of Mrs. Mabel Denike Rischmann of
San Jose; and Sister Mary Albert of Mountain View, Hawaii. Member of San
Jose Consistroy No. 9, Sequouja Lodge No. 349 F&AM of Oakland, Calif.,
AAHMES Temple of Oakland, Calif.; Santa Barbara Chapter No. 176 National
Association of Retired Civil Employees & Universal Church of the Master,
Inc. of Oakland, Calif. A native of Illinois, aged 70 years.

Services Tuesday, August 14, at 11:00 A.M. at the Darling-Fischer Garden
Chapel. Interment, Private. Friends who wish may make contributions to
their favorite Charity. Services under the auspices of Fraternity Lodge
No. 399 F&AM.
