DEATH OF DR. H. BLOCK

SANTA CLARA, April 26. - Dr. Block Dead

News was received here this morning of the death of Dr. Howard Block which
occurred recently at Berlin. The young man was well known here, as he often
visited his uncle, A. Block, the well known fruit man. He was a graduate
of the Medical College of Physicians and Surgeons in San Francisco, and
at the time of his death he was taking a special course in Germany.
