Retired S.J. Rancher Dies
Noah W. Workman, 78, resident of San Jose for 34 years and well-known retired
rancher, died yesterday in a San Jose rest home after a long illness.
Workman lived here at 1791 Stone Ave. He was a native of North Carolina.
He lives his widow, Mrs. Emma Workman; a brother, Chauncey Workman, and
a sister Della, all of San Jose.
Funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. from the Lima-Salmon-Tully Memorial
Chapel. Interment will be in Cyperess Lawn Cemetery in San Francisco.

WORKMAN - Entered into rest, San Jose, Calif., Nov. 30, 1948, Noah W. Workman,
beloved husband of Mrs. Emma Workman, loving brother of Mr. Chaeny Workman
and Miss Della Workman of San Francisco; dear brother-in-law of Mr. Otto
Paetzold of San Francisco, uncle of Ruth and Charles Workman and Allen
and Arthur Paetzold, and Mrs. Ethel Sosso, all of San Francisco, and Mrs.
Edward May of Sacramento. A native of North Carolina, aged 78 years.
Friends are invited to attend the funeral services Saturday, Dec. 4. 1948,
at 11:00 o'clock a.m. from the Lima-Salmon-Tully Memorial Chapel, (successors
to Curry & Gripenstraw), 710 Willow St., at Delmas Ave. Interment Cypress
Lawn, San Francisco.
Funeral parking provided on paved area on west side of our chapel.
