Andrea Mercurio

Funeral rites for Andrea Mercurio, 79 of 677 N. 14th St., have been set
for 9 a.m. tomorrow at the Mission Chapel of Rancadore & Alameda.

Requiem mass will be celebrated at 9:30 at Holy Cross Church, with burial
at Santa Clara Catholic Cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 8 tonight.

Mercurio, a Jenkins road rancher from 1920 until his retirement in 1946,
died Thursday after a five year illness.

He leaves his widow, Girolima; his daughters, Mrs. Connie Turturici and
Mrs. Josephine Nola, both of San Jose, and Mrs. Carmelina Carolla and Mrs.
Lillian Guardino, both of San Francisco; six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

MERCURIO - In San Jose, Sept 1, 1955, Andrea Mercurio; devoted husband
of Girolima Mercurio; beloved father of Mrs. Connie Turturici and Mrs.
Josephine Nola all of San Jose, Mrs. Carmelina Carolla and Mrs. Lillian
Guardino of San Francisco; dear grandfather of 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
A native of Trabia, Italy, aged 79 years.

Funeral Tuesday, Sept. 6, 1955 at 9 a.m. from the Mission Chapel of Rancadore
& Alameda, 600 So. Second St., thence to Holy Cross Church for a Requiem
High Mass at 9:30. Interment, Santa Clara Catholic Cemetery.

Rosary Monday evening at 8 o'clock.
