I just completed transcribing Redwood Township in the 1870 Census for
Santa Clara County, CA and have it online. It is my hope that it will
help a lot of people. I believe Redwood Township covered the
Sunnyvale, Cupertino areas Santa Clara County

I previously completed Almaden, Alviso, Burnett, Fremont Townships,
Gilroy (City&Township).
Gilroy Township & Milpitas Township

I am continuing with Santa Clara Township. After this is completed, I
will complete San Jose Township (Alviso & San Jose areas) and City of
San Jose (Wards 1 and 2). It is likely to take several months. I will
periodically update all on its progress.


The 1870 Santa Clara County Census transcription will be located at:

The Redwood Township transcription is in the 'redwood/' folder

It is my belief that this will help researchers a lot.
