Hello,
I am very much appreciatted your help to look up the location of the address for his workplace and photo might be filed at library somewhere nearby. It might be picture taken of his building there.

For an example, I found newspapers and several photos of my late grandpa Ira Escobar who was a dealer, president of Kiwani club, business stuff and community of El Segundo at El Segundo Public Library. Everyone knew him well in El Segundo Community in old days.

One thing made me shock is about a photo of Davis and Escobar garage building on my homepage. I did not realize that it is on my homepage for a while! Many thanks to my cousin who woke me up about it. Ha. Alright, I am suspecious that my late grandfather Ira Escobar's cousin Leonard Harold Davis owned Davis and Escobar building at Julian St. of Santa Clara. He lived in 99 Norton Ave, San Jose, Ca. I let you see my obit below about him. It is very interesting stuff about him. I really have no idea about what happened to Antone Silva and Amelia. I am still looking for them anyway for following up and see about Leonard Harold Davis' location. I believe that he was influenced by my grandfather's business. He came down to visit him once a while, which it is written on my cousin's oral interview paperwork. Probably, that is him.

Here the information for Leonard's obits below:
On Monday Sept. 29, 1952 San Jose Mecury

L. H. Davis, Garageman, dies at 51
Leonard H. Davis, 51 operator of Davis Auto Repair-Service, 301 E. Julian St. died in a San Francisco hospital yesterday after a brief illness.

He operated a garage in San Jose 24 years, six of them at the Julian St. address. A resident of 99 Norton Ave., he lived in the San Jose area 34 years.
Surviving are his widow, Ann of San Jose and six brothers and sisters. They include John and Anthony Davis both of San Jose; Frank Davis of Santa Clara; Mrs Mary Miner of Santa Cruz; Harry Davis, of San Francisco, and Mrs Louis Wallhood of Sebastopol.
Services will be held Wednesday at 9 am from Chapel of Flowers of the Santa Clara Funeral Home. Requiem Mass will be celebrated in St. Clare's Church at 9;30. Interment will be in Santa Clara Catholic Cemetery.

Let me know what you find something at Santa Clara Public Library somewhere nearby. I am interested in to find out about photos, records, directory, newspaper ads or article about Leonard Harold Davis, anything you might know better than I. Give me any good ideas. Thanks so much.

With your help is very much greatly appreciatted.

I am looking forward hearing from you soon.
Thank you very much.
