Carl & Phil/Phillip are the children of my grand aunt, Harriet (Young) and her second husband Hugh Callaway. Carl was b. around 1923 and Phil was born around 1927, both in Pueblo, CO. Hugh and Harriet moved to California sometime after 1930, and she was living in Sunnyvale, Santa Clara Co., at the time of her brother's death in 1963.

Harriet's brothers were my grandfather, Arthur Vincent Young (born 1883 MN), and John Joseph (born 1885 MN). I am hoping that one of these Callaway brothers or their descendents might have more information on Art and Harriet's parents, John H. Young, probably born about 1862 in Wisconsin, and Alice Haffey, born 1866 AL. Alice lived with this family until her death. John H. worked for the railroad and moved around - a lot!

Sometime in the 1960s, a cousin from California, probably one of these Callawy brothers, wrote to my father, but he never replied, as far as I know.

In my grandmother's trunk, I have several old pictures (unidentified, unfortunately) of several young boys, taken in Pueblo, which I suspect are these Callaway brothers and possibly their stepbrother, Melvin Moore, Harriet's son from her first marriage (husband's name unknown). Melvin was born about 1914.

Any information about this family would be greatly appreciated.
