Some of your information is incorrect Helana Victoria Haskell's mother is Lodema Folsom. Her father, George D. Haskell. Helena was born 8 JAN 1853 in New Haven, Junea Co., Wis. Helena married Madison Hun Buck on 11 Mar 1874 in Lake Mills, WI. they raised a family in Delafield: Mary, from Madison's previous marriage, Harry Madison (my ggrandfather) b.1878, Edith Myrtle b.1876, Martha Amelia b. 1880, and Wallace Chester b. 2 FEB 1881.
Madison Hun Buck was b. 1837 in Sacket Harbor, Jefferson Co., NY. His father was Solomon Buck b.1808, who presumably married Mary Beach Parsons in St. Lawerence Co., NY. They later moved to Maywood, Ill. It is difficult to ascertain why Helena left, but we believe Madison died (no death record) and no sign of him in or around Delafield cemeteries. I am still trying to solve the mystery of where Solomon came from. He may be of Native American descent. If you need any further info, please contact me.
