Hi all,

I just found some information on Marshall Mitchell of Redding. He was a
Marshal (yes, Marshal Marshall Mitchell) in Redding, first elected in 1885
and serving for many years. He was reported to come with his father when he
was about 11 in 1859. His father was named Isaac Mitchell and the family
had 7 children, I think I know the names of 4 of them. This is what I think
I know:
1. Isaac1 Mitchell was born in PA, and died 1865 in Shasta Co, CA. He
married Esther Alexander August 11, 1836 in Fountain, Fountain, IN.

2 i. Margaret2 Mitchell, born Abt. 1837 in Bonus Twp., Boone Co, IL; died
Bef. 1876 in CA. She married William Wallace Williams Abt. 1855 in Iowa?.

3 ii. Marshall Mitchell, born October 19, 1848 in Bonus Twp., Boone Co, IL;
died January 1909 in Marysville, CA. He married Annie Watt 1883.

4 iii. Robert Mitchell, born Abt. 1843.

5 iv. Isaac Mitchell.
