In the Sunday, September 2, 2001 Record Searchlight.
I found this intresting that Lakehead was once called New Pollack.

Service with a smile:
Martin Rodrique and Flora Jane Day Rodrique are shown in this circa-1930
photo at Rod's Service Station and residence at "New Pollack," now
Lakehead. He purchased and tore down the Elks Lodge in Kennett and used
the material to build the gas station and home. The Cracker Barrel
Antique Store is now located at the location.
