Hi, When people are looking for newspaper info, I think most of you know
about the Mountain Messenger the longest in time published weekly in the US.
It is now located in Downieville and their records might be of help in looking
up announcements from way back when. I would recommend going to the
Sacramento State Library where I am finally getting next week. The publisher
is very gracious but their microfilm viewer was out of whack and the state has
all the newspapers recorded on microfilm. Will report back after Sacramento.
