Dave,
Do you have any dates for your Mary Marks or the rest of the names? I have the 1880 census and there are Marxs and 2 Marks in Siskiyou Co. in 1880, one in Scott Valley and the other in Yreka. Dates really help in knowing if we have the resources to help, places also help if known, and any first names. There is one family of Hammonds in Scott Valley: Charles 48, Rebecca A., 29, Charles S. 13 and Edith C. 9. There is other info also. There are 2 other Hammonds listed also. There are no Overstreet nor Haskins listed in 1880 in Siskiyou Co. If these sound like your families, let me know, and I will type all info listed.
