Hello,
I have found two relatives (brothers) on separate ship manifests. It has
been suggested that the Sisson they were heading for was part of
Siskiyou County. Would there be any records from that time period to
confirm that either (or possible another sibling) arrived in Siskiyou
County?
Was Sisson a place to make travel connections?

Luigi ROSA
Arrived at Ellis Island April 1, 1905
Born 1887 Fivizzano, Massa Carrara, Toscana, Italy
Traveling with Celestino Rossi, age 17
States they are both headed for Sisson California.
Where Celestino has a brother Pietro Rossi.
And it mentions Luigi has an uncle " Uncle Galli Clemente box 121"
The ROSA's are related to a GALLI family, so I thought this might mean
the Uncle GALLI, in Clemente. Not sure if there was such a town in
1905.

Ship manifest shows heading to Sisson.
Born 1885-1887,Fivizzano, Massa Carrara, Toscana, Italy
Age: 21
Gender: Male
Place of Origin: Italian
Nearest relative, brother Luigi in Maclendo CA (mendocino co? or a town
name?)
