JoLee Murray

Dixon resident JoLee Murray died on June 15, 2002, in an automobile accident near Dixon. She was 50.

She was born on June 25, 1951, in Phoenix. She worked as the office manager at Oak Animal Hospital.

She participated enthusiastically in all of her children's activities, and often kept score at various sporting events and was a "shuttle service" for youth sporting events. She also worked as the Notre Dame parking lot supervisor.

She was a loving wife and mother for 28 years. Her son, Kevin Murray, also died in the accident.

She is survived by her husband, Dr. Robert Murray; son, Patrick Murray; and daughter, Mary Murray, all of Dixon.

A visitation will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 105 Second St. in Dixon, with a rosary being recited at 7 p.m.

A Mass of Christian burial will begin at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Peter's Catholic Church. Father Maurice O'Brien of St. Peter's Catholic Church will preside. Interment will be at the Silveyville Cemetery in Dixon.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Christian Brothers High School, 4315 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Sacramento, CA 95820-2727.

Arrangements are under the direction of Milton Carpenter Funeral Home.
