So sorry, NOTHING showed up in the Sonoma Press Democrat or the Sonoma Index
Tribune and I searched well beyond my normal range. Perhaps a dc would be

All very helpful information. I did not know the county where he was born,
having a devil of a time tracking that one down, thank you. I can finally
get his birth certificate, wow. The possible father that I found was through
the SSDI, his ss# 548-26-8111, born in 1927. I 've been doing this for 20
years, though, and now I'm not sure I understand the notations I kept. There
is a note after his info that just says cal-tex 75208. I don't have any
mention of counties, or even a state for birth and death.
I don't mean to be long winded, but it is hard for me to do this with out
letting you know how much this helps. I am thirty years old, and I have
never seen the man that was my father. My husband and I just had a daughter
in March, and the part of me that doesn't know my dad kills me every time I
look at my child. I have been looking for him since I was 10 years old, when
I found out that my step-father was not my real father. In the last five
years any and all direct contacts to Gary have either died or disappeared.
I've had to start completely from scratch, not easy after all that time.
Please send my great appreciation along to Lauren as well. I hope to hear
from you again.
