Just a note to let everyone know that there is now a TXCASS discussion e-mail
list available for discussion of Cass county, Texas history and genealogy.
You can subscribe by sending a message to that

and nothing else. If you prefer digest mode, you should send the message

Now for the updates to the Cass county, TXGenWeb pages:

Additions to the CCGS queries you can get there by clicking on the Cass
county Genealogical society queries link on the query page.

Also, additions to the society's page and the society's publications page.

There have been additions to the main page which should be noticable to our
regular patrons.

I have this time sent a CC to the TXCASS discussion list but this will not be
a regular practice. You may want to join both lists. The traffic on the
announcements list will be very slow and no discussions. The traffic on the
TXCASS discussion list I presume will pick up as members join.

To join the announcements list:

SUBSCRIBE

in the body of the message (not the subject line - anything you put in
the subject line is ignored). You DO NOT have to leave the subject line
blank. It is IGNORED except to quote it back to you if there is an error.
You DO HAVE to turn off any signature lines/files.

You can also join either list by visiting the main Cass county, TXGenWeb site
and clicking on the links for each lists.
