Surname: Jackson

I searched the CADI cds on the birthdate given in the SSDI and didn't find
a Jackson dying in CA in 1973.

Beware of making assumptions about the state of residence at time of death
also. This is not always the place of death. This was brought home when
researching an individual who died while on vacation in Florida. His death
residence shows up as New Hampshire, which was his legal residence at the
time. The place of death is not shown in the SSDI, although some of the
records show place of residence at the time of death or it could be the
place where last benefits were paid. I know of one example where a lady
died her in Modesto but her benefits went to her son who was in the Army
in Pennsylvania.....her residence was listed as Pennysylvania
