Mrs. Matte Belle Mudgett of Riverbank Dies
Mrs. mattie Belle Mudgett, 74 a resident of Riverbank and Ripon for the
past nineteen years, died in her home near Riverbank this morning. She
was a native of Indiana.
Mrs. Mudgett, widow of Christopher C. Mudgett, leaves three children, Mrs.
Hattie Scott of Riverbank, Myron Mudgett of Modesto and Mrs. Persis Flanagan
of Vancouver, B.C. She also leaves four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock in the Shannon
Chapel with Rev. Rambo officiating. Interment will be in the Citizens cemetery.
