Sorry I put this in the wrong place at first. Here goes again. My husband's
grandfather was Thomas L. Tate b. in IL and moved to AR in the late 1800's.
He had a brother, John Franklin Tate also born in IL and moved to Ar. Their
parents were Francis M Tate and Emily Jane Brandom Tate of Jasper Co. IL.
JFT married Ellie Anderson Tate and they had several children, one of whom
was Bert Lee Tate b June 8, 1892, Green Co, Gainsville, AR. JFT married
2nd to Ethel ?. Bert applied for his Soc. Sec in Modesto CA in 1937, he
gives information that he worked for Ingles Auto camp Stanislaus Co. CA.
We are working on a family site and any information on this line will be
appreciated and will share any information we have.
