MARGARET E. JILKA
Oct. 25, 1917 - March 1, 2003

Margaret Elizabeth Yates Jilka, 85, of Denair died March 1 at her home.

Mrs. Jilka was a native of Spikard, Mo. She had lived in Denair since
1920. She was a homemaker. She moved to Southern California and returned
to Denair in 1944. She was a member of Denair Friends Church, where she
was a pianist, and was a member and past president of Denair Seniors. She
enjoyed gardening, camping in the Sierras and traveling.

She is survived by her sons, Charles Jilka and Gerald Jilka, both of Santa
Cruz; and four grandchildren and two great-grand children. She was
preceded in death by her husband, John Jilka; and son Donald Jilka.

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Denair Friends Church.
Burial at Denair Cemetery. No visitation. Allen Mortuary, Turlock, in
charge of arrnagements.
