WHITFIELD - At home, in Salida, June 7th, Elder John Robert Whitfield; husband of Nettie Whitfield; father of Mrs. Lilla Andress of Fresno and W. J. Whitfield of Portland, Ore. Also survived by four grandchildren. A native of Alabama, aged 68 years. Elder of the Primitive Baptist Church of Salida.
