Charles V. PITTMAN
Services for Charles V. PITTMAN, 68, of Modesto are scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday at Lakewood Funeral Home Chapel in Hughson. Burial will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Lakewood Funeral Home.

He was born in Norton, Kansas. He died Sunday at Memorial Medical Center.

He lived in Stanislaus County for 60 years, including 10 years in Modesto. He was an auto salesman and owner of Fairway Motors in Modesto for 40 years. He was a member of the American Legion and the Oakdale Country Club.

Survivors include two sons, Mark PITTMAN of Oakdale and Barry PITTMAN of Long Island, N.Y., one daughter, Janis A. PITTMAN of San Francisco: two brothers, Gail PITTMAN of San Leandro and Ivan PITTMAN of Chico; one sister, Joyce KOFTINOW of Turlock; and four grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Turlock High School
Restoration Fund, 1600 E. Canal Drive, Turlock, 95380.
