Mrs. Sarah Smith Is Called By Death

Mrs. Sarah E. SMITH a resident of the Turlock district for the past twenty eight years, passed away at the family home east of Turlock late Wednesday afternoon.
Mrs. SMITH was a native of Knoxville, Tennessee, sixty-seven years of age, and resided in Texas before coming to California forty-six years ago. She had taken an active part in social circles here and was a member of the Christian Church.
On December 11th Mr. and Mrs. SMITH celebrated their golden wedding anniversary.
Besides her husband, James H. Smith, she leaves two sons, Frank M. SMITH of Turlock and James H. SMITH Jr. of Merced, and a daughter, Mrs. Ernest FREEMAN of Turlock. She is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. Minnie DELOSS and Mrs. Charles BARNES, both of Los Angeles, and a brother, J. M. MOORE.
Funeral arrangements are in charge of the Guy Funeral Chapel and will be announced later.
