ROY CLAMPITT PASSES AWAY

Graveside services were held on Monday at Hills Ferry Cemetery for Roy H. Clampitt, longtime resident of Newman, and foreman for Golden Valley Creamery Co and Arden Farms for some 26 years.
A native of Texas, he was 76 years old.
Arrangements were made by Evans-Krieger Funeral Chapel.
He leaves one daughter, Mrs. Delores Adams of Reno, Nevada; a sister in Texas, and two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was a member of the American Legion, having served as a Veteran of World War I.
