Marie H. Boothe—The rosary will be recited 7 p.m. Monday at the Allen Mortuary for Marie H. Booth, 82, who died Friday at a local hospital following a long illness.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Church with burial following at Turlock Memorial Park.

A native of Oregon, she was a teacher-principal at both Roselawn and Monte Vista schools and taught at Wakefield and Brown schools in Turlock. She was a 1953 graduate of San Francisco State University. She was a member of Sacred Heart School and was a member of the Turlock PTA, American Legion Auxillary, Rex Ish Post, VLI of Sacred Heart, and Senior Citizens Club.

Survivors include her daughter, Miriam McGrath of Ventura; sons Robert of Fresno and William of Los Gatos; brothers James Hillis of Bangor Calif., and Robert Hillis of Eureka; 14 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

The family requests that donors make memorials to the charity of their choice.
