I searched 7/26/1933 - 12/01/1976The Modesto Bee And News-Herald, Modesto California
on line through Heritage Quest and didn't find an obit for Jacob.....

Jacob does not appear in the SSDI but does in the CA death index.....
PRETTYMAN JACOB S 03/12/1859 mother BOYER father WILLS M INDIANA STANISLAUS 09/07/1951 92 yrs


Here's a neat thing you can do, that might get you information in the future from others researching the same people:
visit the CADI website and use the ADD link in the right column and leave a message indicating information you might have on this person - maybe someone will find your post and contact you with more information;

If you get further details, such as information from the death certificate or an obituary, edit your message to keep it current on the information you have on this person.
