Searching for Castle Garden ship arrival for:
GOLDMAN, Abraham (age approx. 19-23) and
GOLDMAN, Sarah/Sura (age approx.16-19)
Allegedly married in 1870 and immediately
emigrated to NY from Suwalki, Russia/Poland
that same year, according to family lore and
1900 census and 1875 naturalization claim.
I cannot find them in the 1870 census so
I have to 'assume' they arrived in the latter
half of 1870. (or 1871)? Their 1st child was
born in NYC in Dec. 1871. Can anyone help?
Thanks, Ron
