Just came across a letter from 1964 written to husband's grandfather -
Geo. McCorkle re McCorkle's of NC. Letter refers to a book "Sherrill
Annals of Lincoln County which contains information on the Major Francis
McCorkle's family and his father Matthew L. McCorkle. Would appreciate
any information and will share mine.
