Steve - I have done very little on the Fisher/Jones part of my family.
The reason is that my conclusion has been that all or most of the
daughters of Stephen Fisher married before he arrived in Lincoln
County. I checked the marriage records of Lincoln Co for the
daughter's marriages and found nothing. Since the surnames of the
married daughters are not prevalent in the Lincoln area, I wondered
if some of them never even lived there. That is why I was hoping
someone could tell us where the Fishers, Jones, Barns, Morgans, etc.
might have been previously. I will check some more and see what I can
find on the Barns family.
