NC Land Grant in Burke Co., NC for Reuben Stallings of 15 Mar 1802 reads:

Lying on ???Cankaves?? Mill Creek including both sides of S__Creek joining
Abraham Stallings line and Albert Copening line including for _____entered
15th day of March 1802.

What is the proper name of the Mill Creek? Would it be South Creek
joining....
Would appreciate know where this is today and any further info on these 2
families.
