Well, birth records weren't known in NC until 1913. Cemetery records fill in
the gap but they won't help much on families that left the area. Many folks
weren't picked up in the early census and since 1850 was the last chance of
finding them here, I guess you're out of luck. They must have sold their
property prior to leaving so that and tax records might be the only other
option. I don'r have either of these in my database. I checked the Court
Records of the Pleas and Quarter Courts for the years from when Catawba was
formed (1842) untill 1855 and don't find the name ANDREWS there either. Sorry.
