My great-greatgrandmother was Sarah Aderholdt, who married Miles Rankin
Witherspoon in 1844. Does anyone have information on her line?

My grandmother was Mollie Baker, daughter of Henry and Mary E. She married
Emanuel Alexander Witherspoon in 1885. I note that there is a will in Catawba
County for a Henry Baker. The will was recorded after Mollie's birth, and I'm
wondering if anyone has reviewed it and recorded listed heirs/children.

And finally I'm still looking for the first Codys to show up in
Lincoln/Catawba. My maternal grandmother was Effie May (no father listed), my
great-grandmothr Ann Cody, and my great-great-grandmother appears to have
been Mary Ann Cody. (Although it is possible that the marriage records just
left out the fathers' names, it appears that both Effie and Ann -- who married
later -- were both born out-of-wedlock). Anyone seen these names in
newspapers, bastardy bond papers, etc.?
