Subject: David Cline's Wife??

In response to "Who was David Cline's Wife" discussion...my father was
involved in writing the history of this family...at least in updating a
version written in 1915 by Ciscero Cline of Newton,NC Ciscero spent many
years researching thru family papers and bibles and according to him, HENRY
Klein/Cline married Salomey Carpenter, daughter of Jacob Carpenter, whose 1808
Will lists as an heir, his daughter, "Salomey Cline, wife of Henry". Salomey
was Henry's first cousin. Actually, according to Ciscero Cline's research,
"Carpenter" and Zimmerman" were used as being the same name by this group of
people. David Cline, the 3rd son of Stoffle (Christopher) Cline, married Mary
Conrad, commonly pronounced as "Coonred" in those days. She was the daughter
of Rudolph Conrad. I have extensive info on this family and would be glad to
look up questions if you e-mail me. Just give me a few days to respond.
