According to _Hardeman County [TN]Historical Sketches_, page 203, John and
David Lineberger, sons of John and Barbara Stover Lineberger were born in
Lincoln Co NC and moved to Hardeman Co TN before 1850. This is not my
family, but it would be interesting to know how these men tie into the
Lineberger family outlined in the Jan 20 posting. If anyone would like to
go to the trouble to share that, I'll put a copy in the family file folder
at the county library to help anybody looking into the Linebergers here. A
lot of families from that area moved to this area. Thanks, pat vincent
