Hello,
My Grandfather Arthur Benjamin Howard was one of 23 children,13 in the
first set and 10 in the second set, he and about 5 of his brothers and
sisters were born in Henry Co., GA and then the family moved to Lincoln
Co., GA and the rest were born there. He had a sister, Nannie Mae that
lived at Drexel ( or so i was told) . Her last husband was a Mayfield.
There was also a brother up there named Thomas Howard and I have been in
touch with his son Jerald.
I was told that another brother named James (Jim) Howard lived in
Raleigh and Had died while sitting in church one Sunday, and that he had
2 sons and that one of them had lived in or around Hickory. Does any of
this information sound familiar to anyone. I would be glad to exchange
information and also have some pictures.
