The 1900 Catawba Co., NC Census, Millennium Edition has been completed and
published. A vast undertaking for Jan Richardson, it consists of 608 pages
in two spiral-bound volumes, with an every-name index of the actual census.

Unlike most census books, wherever possible, marriage information and
extracts of earlier censuses and vital records showing the entire family
group are included. This can be extremely helpful in identifying complete
family groupings.

This important work fills the void after the missing 1890 census and
includes census data that was not required in 1880. Included are:
- The person's relationship to the head of the family
- Month and year of birth
- Number of children born to mother/number living
- Number of years married
