Illegitimate Children.
Ordered by Court that the Sheriff bring to the next Court the children of Elinor
Jackson & Fanny Perkins to be bound out. Order issued.
Guardians.
James Nixon having been appointed guardian to Robert Abernathy an illegitimate
son of Robert Abernathy entered into bond with Otterson Black Security in the
sum of L100.
John McCarver having been appointed guardian of Cainy Rodes an orphan son of
James Rodes dec'd. entered into bond with Andrew Hoyle Security in the sum of
L150.
Michael Sides having been appointed guardian to Sally C. Sides an illegitimate
child of Eliza Sides, entered into bond with Richard Cowen Security in the sum
of L50.
Michael Sides having been appointed guardian to Eli & Menter Sides illegitimate
children of Eliza Sides entered into bond with Richard Cowen Security in the sum
of L50 in each case.
James McKee Esquire having been appointed guardian to William Jackson Oars an
illegitimate son of Jno. Oars entered into bond with Andrew Hoyle Security in
the sum of L50.
James Nixon having been appointed guardian to John Tucker an illegitimate son of
John Tucker entered into bond with Otterson Black Security in the sum of L100.
Indentures.
Harriot Parrish a child of color two years & a half old bound unto Peter Forney
until she arive to 18 years of age to learn the trade of a Spinster.
Caty Parish about eight years old bound unto Abram Forney until she arive to
eighteen years of age to learn the trade of a Spinster, who is to learn her to
read & at the expiration of her time to give her a bed & furniture.
Mary Parish about 5 years old bound unto Abram Forney until she arive to 18
years of age to learn the trade of a Spinster who is to learn her to read & at
the expiration of her time to give her a bed & furniture.
Nancy Delshazer three years & two months old bound unto Abram Forney until she
arive to 18 years of age to learn the trade of a Spinster who is to learn her to
read.
Sally Chevis about one year old bound unto John Fulenwider Jnr. until she arive
to 18 years of age to learn the trade of a Spinster, who is to learn her to read
& at the expiration of her time to give her a wheel & cards & twenty dollars in
money.
Levi Chevis about 3 years old bound unto John Fulenwider Jnr. until he arive to
21 years of age to learn the trade of a Black Smith who is to learn the said
Levi to read & write & at the expiration of his time to give him sixty dollars
in money.
