Thanks to Pat, Derick, & Malinda for the maps and recent discussion
on waterways in Catawba. It is persons like you-all that make this
list so valuable for many of us.

My "stonewall" ancestor is James Grice (1781-1850) who lived at the
foot of Anderson Mountain on the South Fork of Mountain Creek. His son
John L. Grice, who married Sarah Caldwell, inherited the farm, and
then moved to the Moores Chapel area just west of Charlotte. I have
been unable to find his parents. If anyone has any information about
James Grice I will certainly appreciate hearing from you.
