The surname is ABERNETHY per tombstones in Centerview Bapt. Ch. Cemetery
near Maiden, NC and John Sidney's siblings were: Myra, Ellen (unmarried)
who had a son in 1911 per Ellen Cloninger Hefner's Midwife Diaries, and
Nancy Elizabeth.
Have no idea where or when I got this data and I consider them "dirty data."
On the Ned Jarrett and Dale Jarrett, I am sending a copy of this post and
your query to as I believe the listowner, Derick
Hartshorn, might be able to help out on this one.
