I have Lorena Shell Eaker's books, German-Speaking People West of the
Catawba River.... and the 2-vol. set of Shoe Cobbler's Kin--Genealogy of the
Peter Eaker Family.... Can't recommend them highly enough. From what I
have heard, Lorena has another book in the works. I have misplaced Lorena's
current e-mail address--that's the reason for a copy of this post to
(Hello Derick and Lorena!).
