NC Troops (Vol VII:199) reads:
HOLLER, MARTIN A., Private - Born in Alexander County* and resided in
Catawba County where he was by occupation a farmer prior to enlisting in
Catawba County at age 17, June 6, 1861. Present or accounted for until
wounded at Seven Pines, Virginia, May 31, 1862. Reported absent wounded
until March 13, 1863, when he was discharged by reason of disability.

Martin married Mary Ann SPENCER, probably after the war. She was the dau.
of Grissom SPENCER and Mary Anna HERMAN.
Martin was probably the son of Jonas HOLLAR/HOLLER (unk. origin) and
Elizabeth Bolick/BOLCH. I have no info on children.
