Hi Folks:

As much as I appreciate the thank you's, I only forwarded
this site from an e-mail posting I received on another list.
As I remember a lady named Chloe was the one who found
it.

Thought the following might also be of interest.

In searching for marriages, there is a site for searching for
grooms and a site for searching for brides. While they both
show entering the names as, SURNAME, FIRST NAME, MIDDLE
INITIAL, that is NOT necessary. If you enter just the surname,
in the groom's spot, you will get a list of ALL grooms listed with
that surname. If you enter just the surname in the bride's spot,
you will get a list of ALL brides listed with that surname.

If for example you are researching the surname KUTTNER, you would
put that in the grooms search area and you will get four hits, one of
which is my grandfather. If you put the surname KUTTNER in the
brides search area, you will get three hits, none of which I'm familiar
with. Given the price of the documents, I'll just order them and
see if I can find a connection.

One last thing, do this as TWO separate searches. If you put KUTTNER
into both the groom's and the bride's search sites, all you will get is
the marriages where both bride and groom had the surname KUTTNER
prior to the marriage. Not too many (zero) of these!!!!!

SHARROCK men shows 13 hits
SHARROCK women shows 8 hits
SHADDUCK shows one man and one woman

Now how do we get the other states to do something like this?

Lawrence E. "Larry" KUTTNER of Oregon
(He who muddies the waters)
